After the successful launch of her critically-acclaimed new album Phoenix, singer and musician Sadie Jemmett kicks off a series of live UK dates at The Basement, backed by former York musician Dave Freeney on electric guitar and bass.

It’s safe to say that 2019 has been a busy year so far for Sadie. It began with the release of her politically charged anthem ‘Don’t Silence Me’, which was picked up by the #metoo movement and turned into a worldwide ‘hit’. Sadie will be playing new songs from Phoenix as well as classics from her previous two studio albums.
