Arts Picturehouse Cambridge is delighted to be hosting the premiere of Unlicensed, with a live Q&A with Cambridge-based writer, director and star Mark Hampton, and fellow cast members Mark Tunstall and Gary Davidson Jnr. Danny Goode is trying to pick up where he left off. Once a high-flying city-trader he’s now a white-collar ex-con, trying to get back into the lives of his estranged wife and young son. Struggling with a secret gambling addiction and with the city’s doors closed to him, his search for money leads him to an unlicensed boxing match with a cash prize. With themes of addiction, family and friendship, UNLICENSED is a powerful, star-making debut from writer, director and actor Mark Hampton, also starring Sarah Diamond and Mark Tunstall.
