ጀቢና | Jebina Gifti, a young girl who grew up in a small town in Ethiopia called Wolenchiti, raised by her stepmother and fell in love with the neighbour's son Berhanu. Then she gets abducted by a son of a noble man Bonsa and she eventually was forced to marry him. In his despair, Berhanu's attempt at revenge goes wrong. The community turns to the traditional Oromo Geda system to resolve the complex interplay of love, crime and the injustice women endure. ጊፍቲ በኢትዮጵያ ወለንጪቲ በምትባል ትንሽ ከተማ ከእንጀራ እናቷ ጋር የምትኖር ልጅ ነች። ጊፍቲ ያደገችው ከጎረቤታቸው ልጅ ብርሀኑ ጋር ነው። ጊፍቲ እና ብርሀኑ የሁለተኛ ደረጃ ተማሪ ናቸው፤ በጣም የሚፋቀሩ ጓደኛማቾችም ናቸው፡፡ ታዲያ አንድ ቀን ቆንጆዋን ጊፍቲን ቦንሳ የተባለ ወጣት ይጠልፋታል ። በተስፋ መቁረጥ ስሜት ብርሃኑ ለመበቀል ያደረገው ሙከራ ያልጠበቀውን አደጋ ይዞበት ይመጣል። ህብረተሰቡ ውስብስብ የሆነውን የፍቅር፣ የወንጀል እና የሴቶች ኢፍትሃዊነት ለመፍታት ወደ ተለመደው የኦሮሞ ገዳ ስርዓትን ሲከተል ያሳያል።
